Blessed Are the Poor Collection
In this collection of artwork, I have sought to give a human face to the poor and marginalized of society. They are lost and forgotten to society because we fail to recognize their humanity and therefore view them as an embarrassment and a failure. But the failure is not theirs; the failure is ours who do not see. I hope that in my small way that I might help the viewers of my art take a second look and recognize that these are our cherished brothers and sisters, worthy members of the human family. May we all be moved to stand up to be a public voice for the voiceless.

“Do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the alien or the poor.” (Zech 7:10)
