Folk Art Style Owl
I did this piece inspired by the worlds of both folk art and visionary art in which, in both cases, there is a tendency for artists to approach their subjects with a playful style that straddles the fence between realism and the playful eye of a child. There is also the tendency on the part of these artists to decorate their subject with repetitious patterns.
